surpise me God scripture

I am reading my SOAP chapter for the day, Romans 15, and I "bump" into this Scripture.  I think God likes to surprise us even in our Bible reading.  Verse 6 in THE MESSAGE BIBLE reads:

"God wants the combination of His steady, constant calling and warm, personal counsel in Scripture to come to characterize us, keeping us alert for whatever He will do next."

There you go...God wants to work His very nature into our every day lives...and He wants us to be alert to whatever He will do next.

Surprise me God!
