Pastor Rob's message yesterday was one of those that keeps rolling around in my heart. I love to hear teaching on faith...I have heard many of them in my lifetime...but there was something that I took away from the message that really struck me. Here it is...
Faith does not control the outcome...in fact, if we are in control of the outcome of a situation, then we are not operating in faith.
Wow...I know that is simple, but it is so profound! Our faith does not determine the outcome. Our faith anchors us in God...no matter the outcome. Faith is that moment in which we choose to believe God and trust His nature, no matter the outcome of the situation here on earth.
I like that...a principle to live by.
