I played 27 holes of golf on Thursday with three friends. I was reminded as we toured around the course what a great game golf is. It tests you mentally and physically and emotionally. It can be brutal..and it can be a blast. The question is how do we respond to it? One of my friends made a great comment to me at one point: "You are too hard on yourself!" God can speak to me through a friend on a golf course!
I am also convinced that a golf course is a close to heaven as we are going to get before we die. The fresh grass, the different hues of green, water, sand, blue sky, clouds, a heavenly breeze!
I think my mansion will be on a golf course in heaven...ahhhhhh!!!
